Built in 2013, Whitetail Hollow is the newest cabin at Williams Creek Retreat, two miles from the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area. It is situated in a secluded forest, overlooking a dense stand of hemlocks and a small stream. It features two bedrooms and one bath, and sleeps four comfortably.
The layout of the cabin includes a living room and modern kitchen that is fully equipped, along with a full bath that also includes a washer and dryer. Each bedroom features a queen bed, with direct access to the wrap-around porch so you can enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the sights and smells of Big South Fork Country.
The outdoorsman (or woman!) will love Whitetail Hollow. The decor is hunting and fishing themed right down to the camouflage recliner in the living room.
There are flat-screen televisions in the living room and both the bedrooms with satellite service. All linens and towels are provided.
Outside, the wrap-around deck has rocking chairs and furniture to enjoy the outdoors. There is a picnic table, fire pit and park-style charcoal grill on the edge of the forest out back. Williams Creek Retreat includes a large gazebo — perfect for family reunions and other gatherings — on the bank of a small pond. Horse stalls (with a turn-out ring) are available on the premises for $10 per horse per night.
