Bear’s Den

Bear’s Den is situated in a secluded, wooded setting at Williams Creek Retreat, two miles from the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area. Built in 2012, Bear’s Den features three bedrooms and two baths, and sleeps seven comfortably.

The main level has an open living room and modern kitchen that is fully equipped, a full bath and a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The master bedroom, also located on the main level, has a queen bed and direct access to the wrap-around porch so you can enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the sights and smells of Big South Fork Country.

The second level includes the additional two bedrooms and a second bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed. The second is equipped and decorated with children in mind, with bunk beds (full on the bottom; twin on the top). Both upstairs bedrooms have direct access to an upstairs porch overlooking the surrounding forest.

There are flat-screen televisions in the living room and two of the bedrooms with satellite service. All linens and towels are provided.

Outside, the wrap-around deck has rocking chairs and furniture to enjoy the outdoors. There is a picnic table, fire pit and park-style charcoal grill. Williams Creek Retreat includes a large gazebo — perfect for family reunions and other gatherings — on the bank of a small pond. Horse stalls (with a turn-out ring) are available on the premises for $10 per horse per night.
